BauWerke and WIEHAG Holding have entered into a pioneering innovation partnership. As one of the world’s leading companies in the field of sophisticated structural timber construction, the Austrian group stands for climate-friendly project implementation. Among other things, WIEHAG Holding is supplying the construction for what is currently the tallest wooden building in the world in Milwaukee, USA. The largest wooden building in Asia in terms of area (NTU, Singapore) also bears the WIEHAG signature. Outstanding projects have been implemented worldwide with renowned architects (e.g. Sir Norman Foster, Kengo Kuma). The common goal is to create a synergy between the design and planning competence (BauWerke) and the specialist competence in sophisticated timber construction (WIEHAG) from the cooperation, to bring form and function into harmony in the long term and thus to redefine the limits of what is feasible.
