FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DRIVES DIGITALIZATION OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY – BMVI AND BMI START JOINT CENTER OF COMPETENCE

On the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community, the National BIM Competence Center was launched with the signing of the contract. The two federal ministries will jointly operate the National BIM Competence Center and thus ensure a uniform and coordinated approach in infrastructure and building construction. The aim is to accelerate digitization in the construction industry. Planen-bauen 4.0 GmbH was commissioned with planning and operation.
