The hour of the virtuosos at UferHallen – BauWerke Christmas party

After a dinner with employees and guests in Café Pförtner at UferHallen cultural center in Berlin-Wedding on 22nd of December, we attended a classical concert in the “Piano-Salon Christophori” as part of the BauWerke Christmas party.

On an impressive, historic Bösendorfer grand piano restored by owner Christoph Schreiber, the young pianist Nikolai Medvedev thrilled the audience in the sold-out, extraordinary location: Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Haydn, Brahms and Stravinsky – the “hour(s) of the virtuosos” could not have been more impressive and emotional. This was confirmed by standing ovations several times.

Pre-Christmas mood was perfect when suddenly a winter wonderland awaited us outside the door after the concert.
